Cyclones Add Three to Roster

Cincinnati, OH-Cyclones coach and General Manager Chris Cichocki announced three signings today. The Cyclones have added forward Jeff Hansen from the Knoxville Ice Bears of the South East Hockey League (SEHL) and rookie defensemen Erik Eaton and Brian Escobedo from Bowling Green State.

Hansen joins the Cyclones after playing 54 games in the SEHL with Knoxville. Hansen recorded a goal and six assists for seven points during his time in Knoxville. He also rang up 170 penalty minutes.

Eaton and Escobedo begin their pro careers with the Cyclones after playing their final games with Bowling Green St. last weekend. Eaton played 68 games over three seasons at Bowling Green St. He scored a goal and added six assists for seven points during his collegiate career. Escobedo played 113 games during his three seasons as a Bowling Green St. Falcon. He recorded seven goals and 30 assists for 37 points from the Bowling Green blueline.

The Cyclones play in Dayton on Wednesday. The sportsjuice.com pre-game show begins at 6:50 p.m. eastern time before the opening face-off at 7:00 p.m.

The Cyclones return home on Friday for a showdown with the Toledo Storm. Game time is 7:30 p.m. WWE Superstar Batista will be in attendance, and U.S. Bank Arena will be hosting the wedding of two Cyclones fans.

On Saturday afternoon, the Cyclones will be at the grand opening of Streets of Westchester from noon-2 p.m.
