Phantoms announce venue change
January 11, 2006 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Adirondack Phantoms News Release
PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia Phantoms Chief Operating Officer Frank Miceli today announced a venue change for an upcoming home game. The contest scheduled for the Wachovia Spectrum on Feb. 17, 2006 against the Chicago Wolves has been moved to the Wachovia Center.
"The building became available and we thought it would be nice for our fans to utilize all the amenities at the Wachovia Center," noted Miceli. "And the way the schedule works out, the game is appropriately against the Chicago Wolves."
The last time the Phantoms hosted the Wolves, an AHL playoff-record crowd of 20,103 packed into the Wachovia Center, as the Phantoms captured the Calder Cup on Jun. 10, 2005.
Regardless of the Philadelphia venue, kids tickets for all Phantoms games are just $8.00. Purchase on line at phantomshockey.com or to charge by phone, call (215) 336-2000, (856) 338-9000 or (302) 984-2000.
