INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Missouri Mavericks are 2-1-0 on their current five-game road trip after starting it with three games in four days in the Sunshine State. Now they look to finish off strong with back-to-back games in Indy to finish the trip. The two-game set starts tonight at Indiana Farmers Coliseum.

CHECKING THE RIVALRY

The Mavericks are facing the Fuel tonight for the second of three meetings this season, and the first of two at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The Mavericks are 1-0-0 against the Fuel this season after claiming a 2-1 win in their home opener on October 22. Josh Robinson stopped 31 shots in the win and the Mavericks scored twice in a span of 4:02 to earn the win. In their history the Mavericks are 6-0-0 at home against the Fuel but 1-1-0 on the road. Missouri last visited Indy on February 23, 2016 and skated away with a 5-3 win. Rocco Carzo and Andrew Courtney had 1g, 1a each in the win. The Fuel enter play as the hottest team in the Western Conference with a seven-game unbeaten streak (6-0-1) while the Mavericks have won three of their last four.

ONE-TIMER * The Mavericks have scored the first goal in eight of their first 15 games this season and are 5-3-0 in those games. Missouri's win on Nov. 19 was its first when allowing the first goal in a game.
