Allen is 0-1-0 against Idaho this season

Head-To-Head - The Steelheads took the first game of four between the two clubs this season, with a 3-2 victory on Friday night in Boise. The Americans rallied late in the third period but fell short dropping their sixth road game of the season in 11 starts.

99 and Counting - Greger Hanson scored his team-leading 8th goal of the season on Friday night, in the Americans 3-2 loss to Idaho. It was his 99th career goal.

Black Friday Madness - The Americans set a single-game season high with 44 penalty minutes in the loss to Idaho. Forward Derek Mathers had 25 PIM's in last night's game which is a season high.

6-Game Trip - The Allen Americans are on their longest road trip of the season. Allen is 2-1 so far, with overtime wins in both Tulsa and Utah. The Americans can guarantee a 500 road trip with a win tonight in Boise. Following tonight's contest, the Americans will travel to Tulsa for a meeting with the Oilers next Tuesday, and Missouri the following night to face the Mavericks.

Fram-tastic - Jason Fram scored in his Allen debut last night, tipping a Joel Chouinard shot past Steelheads goalie Branden Komm, for his first professional goal and first with the Americans.

Special Teams Nightmare - The Americans gave up their sixth shorthanded goal of the season on Friday night. Allen is tied with the Missouri Mavericks for the most shorthanded goals allowed in the ECHL.

Idaho Steelheads Notes - The Idaho Steelheads are 7-2-1-0 in their last ten games. The Steelheads are led by forward Jefferson Dahl, who leads the team in goals (7), assists (13), and points (20). The Steelheads have won five of their last six games at Century Link Arena.

All in in the Family - Barracuda goalie Mantas Armalis stopped 31 Bakersfield shots to lead the San Jose Barracuda to a 4-1 win over the Condors on Friday night at SAP Center. The San Jose Sharks won earlier in the day on home-ice as former Americans netminder Aaron Dell picked up the win for San Jose by a count of 3-2. Dell is now 2-1-0 on the year, with a 1.93 GAA and a .931 SV %.
