FIRST TO WORST The Monarchs enter tonight's game leading the North Division with 23 points. Elmira has not been so hot to begin the season, and comes into tonight's contest with the worst record in the ECHL, posting six points and a 2-10-2-0 record.

PLAYING CLEAN There shouldn't be too many penalties in the game tonight, as the Jackals and Monarchs are two of the fewest penalized teams in the league. Despite their overall record, Elmira has been staying out of the box, and enter tonight's game with the lowest average of penalty minutes in the ECHL, spending only 8.71 minutes in the box each game. Manchester comes in as the 8th fewest penalized team, spending an average of 12.06 minutes in the sin bin each game.

STAYING PERFECT The Monarchs put their undefeated 5-0-0-0 road record on the line tonight. The Jackals have not been particularly tough to play at First Arena, posting a 1-6-0-0 record so far, and have scored only 14 goals while on home ice, the third fewest across the ECHL.

IT'S ALL IN THE NUMBERS The Monarchs have been in the top-5 all season in terms of scoring average, and will step on the ice tonight with the fifth highest goals/game average in the ECHL at 3.76. Elmira on the other hand comes into the game at the bottom of the league, averaging only 1.79 goals/game.

PUT THEM AWAY EARLY Elmira has not been able to make comebacks this season, posting a 0-6-0-0 record when trailing after the first period. The Monarchs have been front-runners so far, posting a 6-0-0-0 record when leading after the opening frame, and a league-best 10-0-0-0 when leading after two periods.
