LA Galaxy to Open 2019 MLS Season March 2 at Dignity Health Sports Park

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy will open the 2019 MLS Regular Season at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday, March 2 at 5 p.m. PT in a match against the Chicago Fire. Tickets to the home opener will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 1 p.m. PT on

An exclusive presale for 2019 LA Galaxy Season Ticket Members will begin on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 10 a.m. PT. LA Galaxy Season Ticket Memberships for the 2019 MLS season are available for purchase now. Galaxy fans can go to or call 1.877.3GALAXY (342.5299) to secure their 2019 LA Galaxy Season Ticket Memberships.

The LA Galaxy opening match will mark the club's 44th contest against the Chicago Fire, with LA going 21-15-7 against Chicago all time. In all, the LA Galaxy are 14-8-2 in home-opening contests.

During the 2019 MLS regular season, each club will play 34 games, including 17 home games and 17 away games. Teams will face each of their conference opponents twice during the season, with one game at home and one game away. All teams will face each non-conference opponent once.

Media members looking to receive a credential to cover all LA Galaxy home games in 2019 can apply online at All credential applications must be accompanied by a photo headshot and received by 3 p.m. PT on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019. No credential applications will be accepted after the deadline.

The LA Galaxy's entire 2019 MLS Regular Season schedule, along with the team's preseason schedule, will be announced at a later date.
