
New England Revolution Announce 2019 Opening Matches

New England Revolution News Release
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Major League Soccer has announced the lineup of home openers for the league's 24th season. The Revolution open the 2019 MLS campaign in Frisco, Texas, where the club will face FC Dallas on Saturday, March 2 at 4:30 p.m. ET. New England then opens its 2019 home slate at Gillette Stadium against Columbus Crew SC on Saturday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m. ET. The Revs will also visit Toronto FC on Sunday, March 17 for the Reds' home opener at BMO Field.

New England opens the season with an away match for an 11th consecutive year, traveling to Toyota Stadium to face FC Dallas. The Revolution hold a 2-6-2 record in its last 10 season openers. At Gillette Stadium, New England has earned points in each of its last 12 home openers (8-0-4), and owns a 14-5-4 all-time record in opening games in Foxborough.
When the Revs host Columbus on March 9, it will mark the earliest home opener in club history - one day earlier than last season's home opener against Colorado on March 10.
