Keith Johnson, Justin Bourne Named All-Stars

West Valley City, Utah - The ECHL announced today that Utah Grizzlies forwards Justin Bourne and Keith Johnson have replaced their teammates, Micheal Haley and Trevor Smith, on the National Conference roster for the 2008 Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Game presented by Jackson Rancheria and Bud Light. Haley and Smith are currently with the Grizzlies and Islanders AHL affiliate in Bridgeport.

Keith Johnson is tied for the Grizzlies team lead with 16 goals and is second on the team with 27 points. In his first pro season, Johnson has also logged three games this year with the Sound Tigers.

Justin Bourne is the Grizzlies hottest player since December 1st, tallying 10 goals and 10 assists in his last 17 games. Overall, the rookie has 12 goals and ten assists on the season in 34 games.

Hosted by the Stockton Thunder and the City of Stockton at Stockton Arena, the 2008 Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Game presented by Jackson Rancheria and Bud Light will be played on Jan. 23 with the 11th edition of the Chase Chevrolet ECHL All-Star Game Skills Competition being held on Jan. 22.

The Grizzlies return to action this Wednesday, Friday and Saturday hosting the Phoenix RoadRunners at the E-Center. All home games start at 7:05 p.m.
