SALMON KINGS HEADLINES: The Salmon Kings and Las Vegas Wranglers met on Saturday night for the second of a two game set in Nevada. Julien Ellis stopped all 11 shots directed his way and Victoria led 1-0 after the first period. The Wranglers tied the game at 1-1 when Josh Sciba's shot went off the post, hit Ellis in the back and went into the net. The Kings responded 27 seconds later when Barrett fed Kiel McLeod a beautiful centering pass on a 3-on-2. McLeod knocked the puck past Wranglers goaltender Kevin Lalande to regain the one goal lead. Wes Goldie put the Kings up by two when he snapped a shot over Lalande's blocker in the top left corner. Victoria led 3-1 after 40 minutes.
