Charlotte, N.C. - The Checkers introduced a brand-new primary logo in front of over 8,000 fans at St. Lawrence Homes Home Ice but were unable to bring the crowd to their feet very often as the Columbia Inferno shutout Charlotte, 5-0.

Charlotte, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers started a six game home-stand in fine fashion defeating the Pensacola Ice Pilots, 6-0.

Charlotte, N.C. - Charlotte had a two goal advantage and watched it evaporate as the Augusta Lynx mounted a second period comeback defeating the Checkers, 6-4.
