Syracuse Mets News Release
The Syracuse Chiefs continue their week long homestand with an exciting weekend off Thruway Cup Baseball. Syracuse concludes its series with the Rochester Red Wings with a Thursday doubleheader, followed by a three-game series against the Buffalo Bisons when we celebrate the special Syracuse tradition of "Re-Opening Day" on Saturday.
Thursday, June 28th (5:05 p.m. Doubleheader vs. Rochester) - Enjoy another $1 Thursday at NBT Bank Stadium, presented by 95X. Plus, celebrate CNY Football Night as part of another Season of CNY Night. Fans can enjoy Hofmann Hot Dogs and Coca-Cola products for just $1 and draft Coors, Labatt, Saranac, and 1911 Hard Cider products for only $2. During CNY Football Night, presented by the Mike Hart Family Foundation and the CNY Football Academy, buckle that chinstrap and grab the pigskin for a football themed night with the Chiefs! We're celebrating football in CNY and all of the great football players form our own backyard. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., and game two of the doubleheader will follow approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
Friday, June 29th (7:05 p.m. vs. Buffalo) - The Chiefs begin a three-game series with the Bisons on a night that features a post-game fireworks extravaganza, and it is Buy Local Night, presented by Blue Rock Energy. Buy Local Night is a part of the Chiefs' Season of CNY because it honors all local businesses in our area. The first 1,000 fans in the stadium who are 21 and older will receive a sticker bomb jersey that will be loaded with all your favorite Central New York logos! You won't want to miss your chance to recieve this one-of-a-kind jersey featuring all your favorite businesses!
It is also a Craft Beer Friday, presented by Now & Later Bottle Shop and Tap Room. For just $20, fans 21 and older can purchase a ticket package, which includes a ticket to the game and two vouchers for craft beers that are redeemable at the Now & Later Craft Corner. Every Craft Beer Fireworks Friday is co-sponsored by 93Q.
Saturday, June 30th (7:05 p.m. vs. Buffalo) - This Super Saturday at NBT Bank Stadium is Re-Opening Day with an NBT Piggy Bank giveaway and post-game fireworks, presented by NBT Bank. Summer is finally here and we are celebrating Opening Day all over again! With the usual cold temperatures in Central New York in April, the Chiefs came up with the idea to enjoy the fanfare of Opening Day under the warm June temperatures as we embark on the second half of the season. The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Piggy Bank, courtesy of NBT Bank.
Sunday, July 1st (1:05 p.m. vs. Buffalo) - Sunday is Superhero Day at NBT Bank Stadium with a Superhero Cape Giveaway, presented by SOS Plus. Come to the ballpark dressed as your favorite Super Hero.
