The Lehigh Valley IronPigs and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders have split the first two games of this four-game series and resume the Iron Rail Rivalry tonight at 7:05 p.m.
PITCHING MATCHUP Drew Anderson takes the ball for the IronPigs against AJ Cole. Tonight's starting pitching matchup is presented by Allentown Family Foot Care, which provides the latest in medical and surgical treatments of the entire foot and ankle. Learn more at affc.com.
Drew Anderson makes his ninth start of the season tonight for the Pigs. Anderson is 4-2 with a 3.48 ERA this season. This is his first start of the year against the RailRiders. Cole, who arrives on a Good Shepherd rehab assignment, is 2-1 with a 6.17 ERA in 11 Major League games with the Nationals and Yankees this season.
LAST GAME Cole Irvin tossed six strong innings for Lehigh Valley, allowing just one run, but the Pigs fell 3-2 to the visiting RailRiders. Click here to read a full recap of last night's contest.
HEAD-TO-HEAD The RailRiders lead the Iron Rail rivalry 8-6 in 2018. Last night's victory was the first for Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at Coca-Cola Park in 2018.
SWB will make one more trip to Coca-Cola Park during the final homestand of the season to wrap up the Iron Rail Rivalry.
TONIGHT AT COCA-COLA PARK Before the game, 1,500 kids 17-and-under will receive a Fighting Bacon backpack compliments of LVHN. It's Soccer Night at Coca-Cola Park and this evening's festivities include a soccer night parade.
The 2018 Season is the IronPigs' 11th season at Coca-Cola Park and 11th as the top affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.
