INDIVIDUAL PLAYOFF TICKETS NOW ON SALE
Cincinnati, Ohio â The Cincinnati Cyclones, an ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League's Nashville Predators, today announced the game schedule for the 2002 Kelly Cup Northwest Division Semi-Final Series with the Dayton Bombers.
The teams open the best-of-five series on Wednesday, April 3 at the Nutter Center at 7:00 p.m. Game 2 of the series will be played Friday, April 5 at Firstar Center at 7:30 p.m. Game 3 is scheduled for Saturday, April 6 at the Nutter Center at 7:00 p.m. Game 4, if necessary, will be played on Monday, April 8 at Firstar Center at 7:30 p.m. and if needed a Game 5 will be held at the Nutter Center at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10.
Cincinnati and Dayton met a total of 12 times in the regular season with the Cyclones posting an 8-3-1 record against their in-state rivals. The Bombers finished 14 points ahead of Cincinnati in the standings, despite the Cyclones posting a record of 15-3-2 over their final 20 games.
"This is going to be a great playoff series," said Cyclones President/COO Pat Pylypuik. "Hockey fans throughout the region are excited for this. Dayton posted the best record in the division and proved over the long haul of the season that they are the best team in the Northwest Division. It will be a challenge to try and knock off the division champions in a short series."
The Cyclones also announced that individual playoff tickets are on sale now through the Firstar Center Box Office and through participating Ticketmaster locations. The costs for individual tickets to the first playoff series are $18.50, $16.50, and $10.50.
Tickets can be purchased at the Firstar Center Box Office, open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and through all participating Ticketmaster locations, including select Kroger stores. Tickets may also be charged by phone by calling (513) 562-4949 or at www.ticketmaster.com.
