Cincinnati's Huppe Named InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. - Cincinnati right wing Curtis Huppe is the InGlasCo East Coast Hockey League Player of the Week for March 25-31.

The 6-1 and 190-pound Huppe scored five goals and 10 points in four games while helping Cincinnati go 3-1 and secure the final playoff berth in the Northwest Division.

Huppe scored two goals and had four points in a 6-4 win against Johnstown on Wednesday. He had two assists in the Cyclones' 5-1 win against Peoria on Friday, and scored the only goal in a 4-1 loss at Peoria on Saturday. On Sunday he scored two goals, including the game winner in the shootout, and had three points in Cincinnati's 4-3 win against Wheeling that clinched the final playoff berth.

In 46 games with Cincinnati, the 23-year-old Huppe has 19 goals and 35 points. Prior to joining the Cyclones, he scored two points (1g-1a) in 12 games with Jackson and two points (1g-1a) in 10 games with Arkansas.

On behalf of Curtis Huppe, a case of pucks will be donated to a Cincinnati area youth hockey organization by InGlasco, the official puck supplier of the ECHL.
