
Ingraham Announces Retirement

Boise, ID. â Monday afternoon Steelheads forward Cal Ingraham made the official announcement that he will retire at the end of the 2001-02 Larry Miller Subaru / Mitsubishi Taylor Cup playoffs. Ingraham, who will retire as the all-time franchise leader in goals, assists, points and games played, will play his final regular season home game this Wednesday versus the Tacoma Sabercats at the BofA Centre. The Steelheads organization will honor Ingraham with a ceremony during the first period intermission of the game. For tickets call 331-9497 (TIXS).
"It has been a great four years," said Ingraham. "I have really enjoyed playing and living in Boise. It's a great place not only to play hockey, but also to raise a family. I have met a lot of great people and made a lot of great friends."
Ingraham is the only play in WCHL history to score 50 goals in three straight seasons. This season he has scored 23 goals and handed out 43 assists in 61 games. At the time of his announcement he has played in 263 WCHL games, scored 175 goals, given out 204 assists, totaling 379 points in four seasons with Idaho. Overall Ingraham has played in 481 professional games, scored 281 goals, has 354 assists for a total of 635 points in seven seasons.

Playoff Tickets
Season ticket holders can pick up their playoff tickets right now at the Diamond Sports office located on the 4th floor of the Grove Hotel. Individual playoff tickets are available at the BofA Centre box office and all Select-A-Seat location.
