Caravaggio Shuts Out Colorado
Luciano Caravaggio stopped 28 Gold Kings shots, including 11 in the third period, to preserve his first shutout on the season and the fifth of the year for Bakersfield, as they rolled to a 6-0 drudging of Colorado on Tuesday night. Jamie Cooke scored twice, and the Condors added tallies from Patrik Aronsson, Jeff Goldie, Paul Willett and Jason Firth in the win. Goldie's tally was his 30th of the season, and he remains the team leader in that category. The shutout was the 8th of Caravaggio's career.
Friday, March 29 Attendance: 7,453
Rosebush Leads Condors to Pounding of San Diego
Paul Rosebush reached a milestone on Friday night, with his 20th goal of the season during the first period against San Diego. That goal tied the game at one apiece, but he wasn't nearly finished for the night, adding two more to get his first professional hat trick. Scott Hay recorded the win on this night, stopping 28 Gulls shots. Peter Brearley and Aaron Brand also scored for Bakersfield, as they beat the Gulls for the third time this season, but first on home ice. The crowd was the biggest on the year for the Condors.

Third Period Surge Upends Long Beach
The Condors fell behind in Long Beach 3-1 after two periods of play on Saturday night, looking for their first road win of the season against the Ice Dogs. In the third period, Edgars Zaltkovskis pulled the score to 3-2, and Quinn Fair tied the game up on the power play, sending the game into the shootout. Gable Gross and Jeff Goldie scored in the extra session, and Caravaggio stopped all four Long Beach chances for the 4-3 win. The win, coupled with a Fresno loss on Saturday, put the Condors just one point behind the Falcons for third place in the Southern Division standings.
This Week
Friday night the Condors host the Tacoma Sabercats in a 7:00pm matchup at Centennial Garden. The first 2,000 adults will pick up a Condors Windshield Shade, sponsored by KLLY 95.3 and Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield. The Condors are 6-1 head-to-head against the Sabercats this season.
