The IceGators had a 14-game winning streak that tied the ECHL record set by the Knoxville Cherokees in 1993-94 and became the first team in ECHL history to have two goaltenders with 23 or more wins as Marc Magliarditi and Frederic Cloutier both finished with 28 wins. Louisiana also became the first team since Pee Dee in 1998-99 to go an entire season without losing back-to-back games in regulation.
