Dallas/Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators (NHL), and Belleville Senators (AHL), face the Idaho Steelheads tonight in the second game of a three-game series. The Americans won big on Friday night 6-2, behind a two-goal night from Easton Brodzinski, and a 41-save performance from Leevi Merilainen. Game time is 7:10 PM

Friday's Recap: The Americans won their third game in a row, the longest win streak of the season and their third straight home game. After giving up the first goal of the game, the Americans scored six goals in a row on their way to a 6-2 victory over Idaho on Friday night. Easton Brodzinski scored a pair of goals, his eighth and ninth of the season. Hank Crone tied Colby McAuley for the team lead in points with his seventh goal of the season. Kris Myllari, Colin Jacobs and Solag Bakich also scored for the Americans. Leevi Merilainen stopped 41 of 43 Idaho shots to earn the victory. He improved to 2-0 against the Steelheads this season.
Head-to-Head with Idaho: The Americans beat the Idaho Steelheads on Friday night for the second time this season. Allen was 0-8 last year against Idaho. The Steelheads still lead the season series 4-2. The teams will play a total of 11 times this year.
Crone extends point streak: Hank Crone scored his seventh goal of the season on Friday night extending his point streak to a season-high nine games. During the nine-game streak he has four goals and 12 assists.
Jacobs scores in Allen debut: Colin Jacobs, a DFW native, found the back of the net in his Americans debut on Friday night. Jacobs chased Idaho goalie David Tendeck, in the third period scoring the sixth goal of the night for Allen. The former Buffalo Sabres fourth round draft pick in 2011, last played in North America in the 2019-2020 season.
McAuley misses Friday's game: American forward Colby McAuley missed Friday night's game with an upper body injury. He is listed as day to day
