Flames Sign Brandon Davidson to One Year Two-Way Contract

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announce today that they have signed defenseman Brandon Davidson to a one year, two-way contract with an AAV of $700,000.
Davidson, a native of Taber, Alberta played in ten games with the Chicago Blackhawks last season notching an assist and 15 penalty minutes. The 27-year-old blue-liner has 162 games of NHL experience divided between Edmonton, Montreal, the New York Islanders and Chicago. Davidson has nine goals and 14 assists for 23 points and 78 penalty minutes in his NHL career.
