Falcons to Wear Green Jerseys on St. Patrick's Day

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons announced today that the team will wear green jerseys on St. Patrick's Day, Saturday March, 17, as they host the Idaho Steelheads at 7:30 p.m. at Save Mart Center.

The green jerseys are presented by CBS 47 and Madtown Auto Stereo. Following the game, fans will have the opportunity to bid on the jerseys in a live auction. All proceeds from the auction benefit the Fresno Police Chief's Foundation. The Fresno Police Chief's Foundation is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization established by concerned business leaders to allow the community a way to support the growing unmet needs of the Fresno Police Department.

The first 2,000 fans in attendance at the March 17 game receive a green puck courtesy of Supercuts and 95.7 The Fox.

Fresno opens a four-game road trip on Thursday, taking on the Idaho Steelheads at 6:10 p.m. PT. Catch all of the action live on www.fresnofalcons.com starting with the Port of Subs Pre-Game Show at 6:00. The game airs on 1550 and 96.1 Sporting News Radio on a tape-delayed basis following Fresno City College basketball.

The Falcons return home to start a four-game home stand on Friday, March 16, hosting the Alaska Aces at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for all Falcons home games can be purchased at the Save Mart Center Box Office, by phone at (559) 485-8497, on-line at www.ticketmaster.com, or at any TicketMaster outlet. All Falcons' games air on 1550 and 96.1 Sporting News Radio starting with the Port of Subs Pre-Game Show 15 minutes prior to face off.
