Big fun planned for Chiefs weekend

Johnstown, PA (March 7, 2007) - Three exicting promotions await Johnstown Chiefs fans at this weekends' games!

On March 9, when the Chiefs face the Wheeling Nailers, the first 2,000 fans through the gates will get a free Chiefs poster courtesy of the U.S. Army! The Chiefs will be wearing 1975-76 Johnstown Jets throwback jerseys for all three games that weekend, and on March 10, it will be 70s night at the War Memorial. Break out your leisure suits and bell bottoms as the Johnstown Chiefs celebrate the 1970s! All game long, the Chiefs will honor the decade of disco and funk! After Saturday's game, the game-worn Jets jerseys will be auctioned off.

Don't forget to bring your camera on March 10, when every fan in attendance will have the chance to meet the world's most famous weather-predicting groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil and his handlers!

On Sunday, March 11, the Johnstown Pro Hockey All-Stars, featuring Rick Boyd, Reggie Kent, Chiefs owner Jim Weber, and broadcaster Leif Skodnick will take on the Pittsburgh Celebrity Hockey team, including Steelers Director of Football Operations Kevin Colbert, former Penguin Mark Kachoski, and KDKA personality Larry Richerd at 12:00 noon before the Chiefs face off against the Toledo Storm! Fans with a ticket for the Chiefs game get into the exhibition game for free! March 11 is also Bishop McCort/Parochial School Night sponsored by Hot99. All students who present a student ID at the box office can get a game ticket for just $5!
