
Cyclones At Home Three Times This Week

Cincinnati Cyclones News Release
The Cyclones defeated the defending Kelly Cup Champions, the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies, on Tuesday. Unfortunately for the Clones, the win vs. A.C. was their last victory of the week. Cincinnati lost on Friday in Peoria before returning home and losing to the Dayton Bombers. This week, the Clones look to break their losing skid with three homes games before returning to Peoria on Sunday.
Game Recaps
Tuesday, November 25-Cyclones 4 at Atlantic City 2
Ryan Brindley scored the game-winner on a power play with 4:05 left in the game as the Clones defeated the defending Kelly Cup Champions. Tom Rouleau scored the first goal of the game and his first as a Clone with 2:20 gone in the second.
Scott Cameron gave the Clones a 2-0 lead with a shorthanded marker at the 5:13 mark of the third. The Bullies would rebound to tie the game before Brindley's marker. Captain Mike Casselman added an empty netter to insure the Clones' ninth victory of the season.
Friday, November 28-Cyclones 1 at Peoria 4
The Clones suffered their fourth loss of the season to the R-Men on the night after Thanksgiving. Derrick Byfuglien scored the lone Clones goal. Randy Rowe struck twice for the R-Men to give him five goals this season vs. the Clones.
Saturday, November 29-Cyclones 2 vs Dayton 3
The strangest game of the season for Cincinnati resulted in a one-goal loss to the Dayton Bombers.
The Clones were outshot 17-4 in a scoreless first period. In the second period, Dayton's Alex Johnstone and Richard Naumann each scored their first goals of the season. In between the Dayton markers, Tom Rouleau scored his second goal in his last two games. Jamie O' Leary's goal in the third lengthened the Dayton lead to 3-1. Rouleau would score a second goal for the Clones to cut the Dayton lead to one, but the Clones never got the tying marker. After being outshot by 13 in the first period, the Clones battled back to pull within one shot of the Bombers at 34-33.
This Week
Wednesday, December 3-Toledo at Cincinnati
The Clones host the Toledo Storm for the second time this year on Wednesday. The Clones downed the Storm 3-2 in a shootout on October 22nd at U.S. Bank Arena. The Clones beat the Storm 5-1 on Halloween Night at the Toledo Sports Arena.
Friday, December 5-Wheeling at Cincinnati
The Nailers make their second trip of the season to U.S. Bank Arena on Friday. The Clones drove the Nailers 4-1 on November 5.
Saturday, December 6-Greensboro at Cincinnati
The Clones and Generals meet for the only time this season on Saturday in Cincinnati. The Generals made the playoffs for the first time last season with a 42-21-9 record. Sunday, December 7-Cincinnati at Peoria The Clones return to Peoria on Sunday to continue their rivalry with the R-Men. The Clones are 1-4-0 this season vs. Peoria including a 1-1-0 record at Carver Arena.
Clones to Watch
-Tom Rouleau had three goals in three games to earn the Clones nomination for ECHL Player of the Week.
