LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 0-4-0 OVERALL RECORD: 7-11-1, 15 pts.

Nov. 25 @ Idaho, 2-1 Loss – Fresno fell behind 2-0 within the game's first six minutes and never rebounded, losing to the Idaho Steelheads in the first of a three-game set at the Bank of America Centre by a score of 2-1.

Nov. 26 @ Idaho, 6-2 Loss – In the second of a three-game series at Idaho, the Falcons again fell behind 2-0 within 10 minutes of the opening drop of the puck. They battled back to within a single goal on two separate occasions, but the Steelheads eventually pulled away, winning 6-2.

Nov. 28 @ Idaho, 3-1 Loss – The Falcons finally took a lead in the series against the Steelheads with a 1-0 advantage after 20 minutes, but Idaho scored twice in the first 3:04 of the second on their way to sweeping the three-game set with a 3-1 win in the finale.

Nov. 30 vs. Alaska, 4-1 Loss – Fresno returned home after finishing a stretch of 16 of their first 18 of the season on the road, but again fell behind early as they hosted the Alaska Aces at Save Mart Center. Alaska bolted to a 3-0 lead through one period, eventually winning 4-1.

THIS WEEK'S UPCOMING GAMES

Tuesday, Dec. 2 vs. Atlantic City, 7 p.m. – The Falcons host the defending ECHL Champion Boardwalk Bullies as they try to snap a five-game losing streak.

Friday, Dec. 5 @ Bakersfield, 7 p.m. (Live radio broadcast on KAAT 103.1 FM 6:50 p.m.)

NOTES

· Falcons goaltender Nolan Schaefer, who was assigned to the team by the San Jose Sharks, was called up to the American Hockey League's Cleveland Barons last week. He then picked up his first career win at the AHL level on Saturday, Nov. 29, by making 24 saves in a 3-2 victory against the Utah Grizzlies.

· Including Sunday's game against Alaska, the team plays seven of eight at Save Mart Center in its first extended stay at home of the season.

· The Falcons' last victory came on Nov. 21 against the Long Beach Ice Dogs by a score of 2-1.

· Fresno is 12th (16.8%) on the power play this season and 21st (81.1%) on the penalty kill.

· The Falcons begin the week in sixth place in the Pacific Division, two points ahead of the last-place Long Beach Ice Dogs. They are five points back of the San Diego Gulls, who currently reside in the Pacific Division's final playoff position.

THIS WEEK'S PRACTICE TIMES

The Falcons will skate Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. at Save Mart Center before that evening's game. They will then practice at Gateway Ice Center on Wednesday and Thursday at 10 a.m. each day. Their pre-game skate in advance of their Friday tilt at Bakersfield will occur at Centennial Garden in Bakersfield.
