FRIDAY, December 5th is 89.7 WHMK'S Teddy Bear Toss
Fans are encouraged to bring a teddy bear to the game and after the Inferno score their first goal, you can throw the bear on the ice.
All bears are kept here in the Midlands area.

Friday, December 5th vs. Augusta Lynx 7:30pm Carolina Coliseum
This is the second meeting between the Lynx and Inferno. Last week, the Inferno beat the Lynx 4-3 at home. The Lynx are in fifth place in the Central Division of the Western Conference with 18 points (8-7-2).
Sunday, December 7th @ Gwinnett Gladiators 4:05pm The Arena at Gwinnett Center
The Inferno beat the Gladiators last week in Gwinnett 6-4 with five goals in the third period. This is game two of the season for these two teams. Gwinnett is in first place in the Central Division of the Western Conference with a record of 12-4-3 (27 points).
LAST WEEK Wednesday, November 26th COLUMBIA 9 Florence 1
Three different Inferno players scored two goals and had one assist to help the Inferno beat the Florence Pride 9-1 Wednesday night at the Carolina Coliseum. Paul Cabana opened the scoring with his first goal of the night at 11:51 of the first period with Brandon Nolan on the assist. Barrie Moore scored under two minutes later on the power play from Corey Hessler and Tim Smith to give the Inferno a 2-0 lead. Cabana then scored his second goal of the night at 17:55 as Alex Burrows and Eric Labelle set him up. Robin Carruthers scored his seventh goal of the season at 1:23 of the second period. Burrows scored at 16:08 with passes from Cabana and Terry Harrison to give the Inferno a 5-0 lead. Burrows scored his second goal of the night at 18:34. Labelle and Harrison had the assist. Jesse Schultz and Derek Eastman fed the puck to Chris Pittman as he notched his sixth goal of the season on the power play 21 seconds into the third period. Less than 30 seconds later, Tim Smith netted the eighth goal for the Inferno with help from Carruthers and Moore. Carruthers finished off the scoring for Columbia at 8:41 with his second goal of the night by taking passes from Hessler and Smith. Rob McVicar was strong in goal stopping 17 of 18 shots to record his fifth win of the season. Mike Souza scored Florence's lone goal at 15:28 of the third period on a five-on-three. The last time the Florence Pride took a regulation victory from the Inferno was November 27th, 2002 (363 days).
Friday, November 28th COLUMBIA 4 Augusta 3
The Columbia Inferno won their sixth straight game as they beat the Augusta Lynx 4-3. Jesse Schultz opened the scoring at 2:13 of the first period with passes from Chris Pittman and Brandon Nolan. Chris St. Croix scored his first goal of the season on the power play at 6:06 to give the Inferno a 2-0 lead. Robin Carruthers scored on a pass from Brandon Nolan at 13:18 as the Inferno took a 3-0 lead. Augusta scored two goals in the second period as Chris Pittman scored the game-winning goal, his seventh of the season for the Inferno from Nolan and St. Croix. Augusta's Louis Goulet scored to bring the Lynx within one goal but the Inferno held on to take the win and took sole possession of second place in the Southern Division. Goaltender Rob McVicar stopped 25 of 28 shots to record his sixth win of the year.
Saturday, November 29th COLUMBIA 6 Gwinnett 4
The Gwinnett Gladiators scored the first three goals but Columbia came up with a miraculous third period, scoring five goals to increase our winning streak to seven games. With Gwinnett on the board leading the Inferno 3-0, Corey Hessler opened it up for Columbia scoring on the power play at 6:10 of the second period with passes from Robin Carruthers and Alex Burrows. The Inferno dominated the entire third period as they exploded with five goals. Eric Labelle scored his second goal of the season from Sean Owens and Tim Smith at 9:22. Barrie Moore tied the game at three with his seventh goal of the year with assists from Owens and Smith at 15:01. Burrows scored only fourteen seconds later with help from Mike Roemensky and Brandon Nolan to give the Inferno a 4-3 lead. Gwinnett tied the game about a minute later with a goal by Rick Emmett. At 18:14, Roemensky set up Owens as he scored the game-winning goal. Carruthers added an empty net goal at 19:35 as the Inferno take the win from the Gladiators to improve their record to 13-3-2 and take over first place in the Southern Division, one point in front of the Florida Everblades. Goaltender Josh Blackburn stopped 24 of 28 shots to improve his record to 7-2-1.
