Baysox Earn Sunday Win, Series Victory

August 28, 2016 - Bowie, Md. - The Baysox topped the Binghamton Mets 6-2 Sunday afternoon for their first series win since July 28-31 at Akron. The Baysox have now strung together three consecutive home wins for the first time since July 17, 21, 22. Pitching has been a strength for the Baysox during the team's three wins as today's Baysox starter Matthew Grimes tossed six innings and allowed just one run in the win. LUCIE, Fla. - On his 23rd birthday, David Thompson lifted the Mets to a 3-0 win with a walk-off home run over the Palm Beach Cardinals to complete Saturday's suspended game.
