August 2, 2025 - AMARILLO, Texas - The Wichita Wind Surge scored in eight of nine innings in a 16-11 slugfest victory over the Amarillo Sod Poodles at HODGETOWN. Wichita comes together for 21 hits to snap their four-game losing streak.

On the sixth pitch of the ballgame, Rosario lifted a solo home run, his 14th of the year, out to left center to give Wichita an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first.

August 1, 2025 - WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Wind Surge today announced their schedule for the 2026 baseball season. The Surge will open the season at home on Thursday, April 2, against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, the AA affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. It will be the third time in six seasons that the team will open up the season at home.
The 2026 season will consist of 138 games, with 69 of them taking place at Equity Bank Park. The schedule will be similar to recent seasons, with most series beginning on a Tuesday and wrapping... Full Story
July 31, 2025 - AMARILLO, Texas (July 31, 2025)-Kaelen Culpepper totaled five hits as the Wichita Wind Surge lost 7-2 and 3-2 in Games 1 and 2 of a doubleheader against the Amarillo Sod Poodles at HODGETOWN. The Wind Surge have lost the first three games of the series against the Sod Poodles in the Texas Panhandle this week.
Amarillo scored first in Game 1 on a 4-6-3 double play in the bottom of the first. Culpepper tied the game with a solo shot, his sixth with Wichita, to left field in the top of the third.
