Ross drove in four runs, highlighted by a bases-clearing double in the sixth inning and a home run in the eighth. DeBarge added a solo home run in the seventh, while Houghton collected three hits, including a triple. Five of Wichita's nine hits went for extra bases.

April 2, 2026 - WICHITA, Kansas - The Wichita Wind Surge and ESPN Wichita (KKGQ 92.3 FM) have extended their broadcast agreement through the 2028 baseball season. The partnership, which began in 2022, provides ESPN Wichita with the exclusive rights to broadcast Wind Surge home and road games. ESPN Wichita will continue to have a physical presence at Equity Bank Park year-round.
