June 7, 2023 - SAN ANTONIO, TX - The Wind Surge pitching struggled against the Missions tonight. Wichita dropped the second game of the series 10-4 to San Antonio despite a ninth inning rally.
The Missions took an early lead in the second inning. Michael de La Cruz drove in a run when he doubled on a line drive to left field. A throwing error from Brooks Lee allowed another run to score.
In the third the Missions extended their lead another five runs with a combo of a two run home run from Jorge Ona and three more runs batted in.

June 7, 2023 - SAN ANTONIO, TX - Jake Rucker's four RBI game and solid pitching from Carlos Luna were not enough to hold back the San Antonio Missions tonight. The Surge lose the series opener 6-5 as the Missions score three ninth inning runs to stun Wichita.
It did not take long for the Surge bats to get hot. Brooks Lee, Yunior Severino, and Jake Rucker, the one, two and three batters, all started the game off with doubles. Rucker's hit drove in his first two RBIs of the game. Patrick Winkel also got a RBI with a single to right field.... Full Story
June 3, 2023 - WICHITA, KS - The Tulsa Drillers jumped on the Wind Surge early scoring five first inning runs and defeated Wichita for the third consecutive game 8-1 on Saturday.
Tulsa loaded the bases with a pair of hits and a walk and Imanol Vargas hammered a grand-slam four batters into the game and then Eddys Leonard followed with a solo home run to extend the lead to 5-0.

June 2, 2023 - WICHITA, KS - The Tulsa Drillers used five pitchers to shut-down the Wichita Wind Surge 9-1 on Friday evening. The Drillers have won three of the first four games in the series.
River Ryan worked five innings, allowed no runs, no hits, walked on and hit three batters to earn the win in relief. The Drillers scored a pair of first inning runs, Yusniel Diaz homered in the second inning to extend the lead to 3-0. The Drillers added three in the fifth and sixth innings.
