Late Goal Lifts Rapid City Past Wichita

March 14, 2026 - RAPID CITY, SD - Wichita closed its 12-game road trip on Saturday night, falling to Rapid City, 3-2, at The Monument. Ryan Chyzowski scored with 3:28 to go in the contest and Rico DiMatteo held off a late charge in the third period from the Thunder. Robert Kincaid opened the scoring 6:34 into the game. Gavin Best Nets First Pro Goal in Win on Friday

March 13, 2026 - RAPID CITY, SD - Gavin Best scored his first goal as a pro with less than four minutes to go in regulation and Wichita held off Rapid City for a 3-2 victory on Friday night at The Monument. Jay Dickman and Tanner Palocsik led the way with two points apiece. Roddy Ross claimed the win, stopping 36 shots. Brett Davis opened the scoring six minutes into the game. Wichita Opens Series vs. Rapid City with Overtime Loss

March 13, 2026 - RAPID CITY, SD - Cameron Buhl scored at 3:21 of overtime to lift Rapid City past Wichita on Thursday night, 4-3, at The Monument. Jay Dickman had a pair of goals to lead the Thunder offense. Matt Davis suffered the loss, stopping 27 shots. Just 13 seconds into the game, Ryan Chyzowski gave the Rush a 1-0 lead.
