Stevenson First Player Announced for 2018-19 Campaign

June 16, 2018 - Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers and powered by Toyota, are excited to announce the re-signing of forward Dyson Stevenson for the 2018-19 season. "Dyson is the consummate team player," stated Head Coach Malcolm Cameron. "He's a true captain who is not only respected in our locker room, but throughout the ECHL for his compete day in and day out. Thunder Announces 2017-18 Season-Ending Roster

June 15, 2018 - Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers, AHL's Bakersfield Condors and powered by Toyota, revealed their 2017-18 season-ending roster on Friday. The Thunder's 20-man roster consisted of 14 forwards and six defensemen. Thunder Completes Futures Trades; Acquires Leavens from Rush

June 13, 2018 - Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers, AHL's Bakersfield Condors and powered by Toyota, announced the completion of three trades from earlier this season. The Thunder have acquired forward Daniel Leavens from the Rapid City Rush, which completes the futures trade that saw Shane Owen go to the Rush. Thunder, the Sin Bin Announce Broadcast Extension

June 7, 2018 - Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers, AHL's Bakersfield Condors and powered by Toyota, announced today an extension of the broadcast partnership with the Sin Bin For the second consecutive season, The Sin Bin app will be home to all 72 Wichita Thunder regular season games and all Kelly Cup Playoffs.
