May 14, 2026 - WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks, AHL's San Jose Barracuda and powered by Toyota, are excited to announce the schedule for the 2026-27 regular season. The 2026-27 campaign marks the Thunder's 13th year as a member of the ECHL, the premier 'AA' Hockey League. Wichita is entering its 35th anniversary season. Travis Clayton Named 15th Head Coach in Team History

May 12, 2026 - WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks, AHL's San Jose Barracuda and powered by Toyota, are excited to announce that Travis Clayton has been hired as the 15th Head Coach in franchise history. Thunder Announce Press Conference Tomorrow

May 11, 2026 - WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks, AHL's San Jose Barracuda and powered by Toyota, will hold a press conference tomorrow afternoon in the North Lobby at INTRUST Bank Arena starting at 1 p.m. Fans and members of the media are strongly encouraged to be in attendance.
