November 12, 2025 - WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita closed a three-game homestand on Wednesday morning for the team's annual Educational Kids Day Game, falling to Kansas City, 5-1, at INTRUST Bank Arena.
Michal Stinil scored the lone Thunder tally early in the third period to give the home team some life. The Mavericks scored quickly and closed down any idea of a comeback attempt.
Nolan Sullivan opened the scoring midway through the first. He outmuscled a Thunder defender near the top of the circles, came in and beat Matt Davis to his glove side... Full Story

November 8, 2025 - WICHITA, Kan. - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's San Jose Sharks, AHL's San Jose Barracuda and powered by Toyota, announced today that forward Lucas Vanroboys has been recalled by the Barracuda.
Vanroboys, 26, recently had his best game in a Thunder uniform. He scored twice and added an assist on November 5 in a 6-4 loss at Allen. The Thamesville, Ontario native has four points in his last two games.

Kyle Keyser stopped all 29 shots he faced to earn his sixth career shutout.
Utah had a ton of pressure in the early going of the game. The Grizzlies outshot the Thunder 13-8 in the first, but the contest headed into the intermission without a goal.
