San Antonio FC Signs Defender-Midfielder Emil Cuello

February 16, 2026 - SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC has signed defender-midfielder Emil Cuello, pending league and federation approval. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. "We're excited to welcome Emil back to San Antonio," said SAFC Head Coach Carlos Llamosa. "Emil is a player with vast experience that can perform in multiple different positions, and we believe he'll be a valuable addition to our group." Rhode Island FC Signs Former Brown University Forward Jamin Gogo Peters

February 16, 2026 - PAWTUCKET, R.I. - Rhode Island FC announced today it has signed forward Jamin Gogo Peters for the 2026 USL Championship season, pending league and federation approval. The four-year Brown University standout signs with the Ocean State club after logging 12 goals and three assists in four collegiate seasons with the Bears. He is the fourth Rhode Island FC player to sign with the club from a local Rhode Island college or university. Cruz Pleased with Performance in Preseason Loss to MLS' Sounders

February 15, 2026 - Louisville City FC battled toe-to-toe with one of Major League Soccer's most established clubs, Seattle Sounders FC, in a 3-1 preseason loss on Sunday in Renton, Wash., just outside Seattle. LouCity head coach Danny Cruz was pleased with his team's performance despite the loss, particularly his team's display in the second half.
