Zazueta K's Seven and Sirota Hits Inside the Park Homer in 9-5 Win
May 2, 2026 - MIDLAND, Mich. - Christian Zazueta is the first Loons starter to earn a win in 2026, with the Great Lakes Loons (17-9) offense supporting his seven-strikeout outing in a 9-5 win over the Peoria Chiefs (11-14) on a 52-degree cloudy Saturday night at Dow Diamond.

May 2, 2026 - PAPILLION, NE - The Omaha Storm Chasers (14-17) took down the Louisville Bats (19-13) in an 8-4 win behind a 4-run 5th inning on Saturday evening. The Storm Chasers were led by John Rave going 3-for-5 while Abraham Toro hit a home run in the victory.
On the first pitch of the game, Louisville's Edwin Arroyo hit a home run off Omaha starter Ben Sears to put the Bats up 1-0 in the top of the 1st inning.

May 2, 2026 - COLUMBUS, GA - The Montgomery Biscuits swept Saturday's doubleheader against the Columbus Clingstones, rallying for an 8-6 win in Game 1 before securing a 4-2 victory in Game 2 at Synovus Park.

Montgomery (12-13) erased multiple deficits and used a three-run seventh inning to complete an 8-6 comeback win in the opener.

May 2, 2026 - JUPITER, FL - Robert Phelps tied his career high with three hits and produced four runs as the Clearwater Threshers (16-10) took down the Palm Beach Cardinals (15-11) in a 9-6 win on Saturday night at Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium.
