Earthquakes Announce Assistants on Almeyda's Staff for 2019

November 13, 2018 - SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes today announced the assistants on head coach Matias Almeyda's staff for the 2019 MLS season. Omar Zarif and Benjamin Galindo will serve as assistant coaches, Carlos Roa joins as a goalkeeper coach, Guido Bonini will oversee strength and conditioning, and Fabio Alvarez will take over as the team's kinesiologist. First Snow of 2018 Set to Fall on December 2 at Quakes Winterfest

November 6, 2018 - SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes' third-annual Winterfest will return to Avaya Stadium on Sunday, Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The holiday festival will feature 20 tons of snow and holiday-themed activities, including rotating performances, inflatable games and a craft fair. Earthquakes Unveil Third Mini-Pitch in the Bay Area

November 1, 2018 - SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes unveiled a new mini-pitch at Arena Green Park in San Jose Thursday afternoon in collaboration with MLS WORKS, San Jose's Department of Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services (PRNS) and the U.S. Soccer Foundation. Earthquakes Goalkeeper Matt Bersano Undergoes Surgery on Hand

October 30, 2018 - SAN JOSE, Calif. - San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper Matt Bersano underwent surgery on Tuesday morning to remove a bone fragment from his left hand. The surgery was performed by Dr. Roberto Diaz of Sutter Health and recovery is expected to take three weeks. Bersano, 26, joined the Earthquakes ahead of the 2017 season. He spent much of the 2018 season on loan with San Jose's United Soccer League affiliate Reno 1868 FC, helping the club finish with a 16-7-11 regular season record and an appearance in the Western Conference se...
