Earthquakes Suffer Defeat to Atlanta United FC

September 20, 2018 - SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes fell 4-3 to league-leaders Atlanta United FC Wednesday night at Avaya Stadium. The match was the first under Steve Ralston, who was elevated from assistant coach to interim head coach on Monday. The Quakes took an early lead after Homegrown defender Nick Lima headed Shea Salinas' cross into the back of the net in the 14th minute. Earthquakes Part Ways with Head Coach Mikael Stahre, Assistant Coach Alex de Crook

September 17, 2018 - SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San Jose Earthquakes announced today that the club has parted ways with head coach Mikael Stahre and assistant coach Alex de Crook. Assistant coach Steve Ralston has been elevated to interim head coach for the team's final six matches of the 2018 MLS regular season, while Alex Covelo will serve as an assistant on Ralston's staff.
