MARLIES NOTES

MATT FRATTIN scored his team leading 24th goal to open the scoring for the Marlies.

BRENDAN LEIPSIC continued his scoring tear recording a goal and assist, including the game winning goal. He has nine points in the past four games. He also surpassed the 50 point mark, sitting on 51 this season. He is the second Marlies rookie to do so this season (Connor Brown).

BYRON FROESE continued his stretch of strong play, recording a goal and two assists, giving him 13 points in the past 10 games

WILLIAM NYLANDER added a goal and two assists, he has nine points in the last seven games

TJ BRENNAN added an assist pushing his point total to 10 in the past six games

CONNOR BROWN recorded his 40th assist and 20th goal, continuing to lead all rookies in scoring with 60 points. He has nine points in the past seven games and points in his last four contests

This is the final meeting between the two clubs this season, the season series finished at 8-2-0-0
