Kings Kings Recall Forward Jordan Weal from Manchester

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Kings have recalled forward Jordan Weal from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.

The 5-10, 179-pound native of North Vancouver, British Columbia has appeared in 70 games with Manchester (AHL) this season, tallying 65 points (19-4665), a plus-7 rating and 52 penalty minutes. He has yet to appear in an NHL game. At the time of his recall, he ranked third in the AHL in points, tied for third in assists and tied for seventh in game-winning goals (six).

Selected in the third-round (70th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Kings, Weal has appeared in 218 career AHL games in five seasons with Manchester, collecting 169 points (57-112169), a plus-43 rating and 132 penalty minutes.

Weal will wear number 60; he would become the first player in Kings history to wear that number if he plays today.
