T-Birds Select Two Players in the U.S. Priority Draft

KENT - The Seattle Thunderbirds made 2 selections in the 2021 WHL U.S. Priority Draft today.
The T-Birds selected forward Macklin Celebrini in the first round with the first overall pick.
Celebrini, a product of Shattuck St. Mary's 18U Prep, has played in 23 games this season and has 20 goals with 22 assists for 42 total points.
The T-Birds also selected defenseman Colton Whitfield from the Cape Cod Whalers 15U AAA. Whitfield has played in 30 games this season and has nine goals and 17 assists for 26 points.
The 2021 WHL Prospects Draft is scheduled for today, December 9 starting at 9:00am. The Thunderbirds have pick number nine in the first round.
