Tigers Select 7 Players in 2021 WHL Prospect Draft

Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers have continued to build for the future, selecting seven players in today's Western Hockey League Prospect Draft. The Tigers not only added skill, they added some size to the future of the team, with all picks being at least 5'9" tall, with 15-year-old forward Cayden Lindstrom leading the pack, standing at 6'5" and weighing in at 190 LBS.

The Tigers selected seven players through the first five rounds of the draft including , one goaltender, two defencemen, and four forwards, including this year's first round selection, highly touted centre from Surrey, BC, Tomas Mrsic.

Tigers Director of Player Personnel Bobby Fox says "The scouting staff is extremely excited about this draft class. We drafted some excellent players and quality young men. We are really looking forward to watching the development of all our picks."

Because of the date of this year's draft, players drafted in the 2021 WHL Prospect Draft are eligible to sign and play for their respective WHL Clubs this season.
