T-Birds Acquire WHL Rights to Dylan Guenther

KENT - The Seattle Thunderbirds today announced the team has acquired the WHL playing rights of forward Dylan Guenther, prospect Jordan Ramsay, and an 8th round pick in 2023 from the Edmonton Oil Kings in exchange for a 4th round pick in 2024 and the following picks conditional on Guenther being returned to the WHL this season: 1st round pick in 2026, 2nd round pick in 2023, 4th round pick in 2025, 4th round pick in 2026, 5th round pick in 2026 and a 6th round pick in 2024.

Guenther was drafted by the Oil Kings first overall in the 2018 WHL Draft and was a part of Edmonton's WHL Championship team during the 2021-2022 season.

Guenther was drafted by the Arizona Coyotes in the first round, ninth overall of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
