Americans Announce Pair of Transactions

KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans general manager Bob Tory announced today a pair of transactions.

2004-born defenseman Ben Feenan has been traded to the Vancouver Giants in exchange for a seventh-round pick in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft. The Surrey, B.C. native was selected 119th overall in 2019. He collected nine assists in 73 games played with the Americans. Feenan is currently playing for the Chilliwack Chiefs (BCHL).

The Americans have also sent 2003-born goaltender Jared Picklyk back to the Lethbridge Hurricanes, in exchange for a 10th-round pick in the 2025 WHL Prospects Draft. Picklyk was acquired from Lethbridge earlier this season and joined the Americans while Tomas Suchanek was competing with Czechia at the World Junior Championship. The Kelowna, B.C. native played in two games for Tri-City, averaging 4.72 goals against and a .894 save percentage.
