The North Vancouver, BC product is playing this season with Burnaby Winter Club U18 Prep team in the CSSHL. In 18 games, he has tallied nine points (5G, 4A) and 10 penalty minutes.

"The Edmonton Oil Kings are excited to acquire prospect Koji Gibson," said Oil Kings President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Kirt Hill. "Koji is a hardworking 200-foot player that has significant speed and skill.

"He is someone we strongly considered drafting in 2022 and now have the opportunity to add him to our prospect pool. He is a player that has great character which makes this addition exciting."

Guenther, 19, is currently playing with the NHL's Arizona Coyotes where in 22 games this season, he has 11 points (3G, 8A), eight penalty minutes and a -6 plus/minus rating.

"Dylan will continue to be a big part of our organization's legacy moving forward as one of the best players to ever don the Oil Kings crest.

"This trade would allow Dylan to go to a contending WHL Club this season if the Arizona Coyotes make the decision to send him back to the WHL before the NHL Trade Deadline. We wish Dylan continued success in the NHL this season."
