Wheat Kings Deal Chiasson to Saskatoon

Brandon, MB - The Brandon Wheat Kings have dealt forward Jake Chiasson ('03) to the Saskatoon Blades in exchange for a 2023 1st Round Pick, a 2025 2nd Round Pick, and a Conditional 2026 2nd Round Pick in the WHL Prospects Draft.

Chiasson, 19, was drafted 15th overall in the 2018 WHL Prospects draft by the Wheat Kings. The Abbotsford native, joins Nolan Ritchie as the only current Wheat King to play four seasons with the team, including winning a division championship during "The Hub" season played strictly in Regina. Chiasson was also a 4th Round Draft pick of the Edmonton Oilers in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.

The Wheat Kings are back in action tonight when they host the Seattle Thunderbirds. Puck drop at 7pm from Westoba Place in Brandon.
