Sound Tigers Sign Brady Leisenring to PTO

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Jan. 8, 2011) ‚¬" The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced Saturday that they have signed forward Brady Leisenring to a professional tryout contract (PTO).

Leisenring, 28, comes to the Sound Tigers for his first stint in the AHL since the 2007-08 season when he played in 3 games with Worcester. Leisenring attended Sound Tigers training camp this year and began the season with the Odessa Jackalopes of the Central Hockey League before signing with the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL. The 5-11, 190-pound forward has recorded five goals and six assists with the Wings in 17 games this year. A native of Stowe, Vt., Leisenring spent last season in Germany where he split time between the Hannover Indians and Landshut Cannibals, totaling 36 points (12 goals, 24 assists) in 50 games.
