
Defenseman Danny Syvret Returned to Adirondack

The Adirondack Phantoms have announced that defenseman Danny Syvret has been loaned to the AHL affiliate by the Philadelphia Flyers.
Syvret did not appear in the lineup for Thursday's game against the New Jersey Devils.
Syvret appeared in 21 games with the Flyers last season, scoring two goals and adding two assists for four points. One of the goals came in the NHL Winter Classic against the Boston Bruins at Fenway Park, where Syvret posted his first NHL goal and the only one of the game for the Flyers. He also appeared in 15 games for the Phantoms last season, where he had five goals and eight assists. In 19 games for the Phantoms this season, Syvret has scored 5 goals and 7 assists for 12 points.
Syvret, 25 (6/13/85), returned to the Flyers organization from the Ducks in a multi-player trade on November 21, 2010. Syvret and Rob Bordson came to the Flyers in exchange for David Laliberte and Patrick Maroon.
Syvret played for the Flyers and Phantoms the past two seasons prior to returning via the trade. He signed as a free agent with Anaheim in the offseason and appeared in six games for the Ducks this year, recording a goal and an assist. He also had four assists in eight games for Syracuse this season.
