SAN ANTONIO --- Matt Climie made 24 saves for the San Antonio Rampage in a 4-0 win over the Houston Aeros Saturday night in front of 6,930 fans at the AT&T Center.

Climie earned his third shutout of the season and second against the Aeros. Andrew Ebbett's first period goal held up as the game-winner.

Ebbett and Mikkel Boedker each registered a goal and an assist each for the Rampage. Matt Watkins and Brett MacLean also scored for San Antonio, which won its second in-a-row and snapped a three-game losing skid versus Houston.

Watkins, MacLean and Boedker followed up Ebbett's opening stanza goal with tallies in the second period. MacLean's goal was his 16th of the season and fifth against the Aeros this season while Boedker's forced an Aeros goaltending change. Starter Matt Hackett, who stopped nine of 13, was pulled in favor of Josh Tordjman. Tordjman's relief effort was also his Aeros debut, ironically against the team he spent the four previous seasons with. He stopped all 12 shots he faced.

Despite the loss the Aeros didn't lose any ground in the West Division race. They remain in the No. 6 position and sit just eight points behind the second place Rampage. The teams play the back end of a home-and-home series Sunday at Toyota Center in Houston at 4:05 p.m.
