
Bulldogs Bite Wolves with 4-1 Win

Chicago, IL - The Hamilton Bulldogs defeated the Chicago Wolves 4-1 on Saturday night. J.T. Wyman scored two goals for the âDogs while Dustin Boyd scored a shorthanded tally to lead Hamilton to victory.
The Bulldogs opened the game's scoring at 13:18 of the first period with a shorthanded goal. Frederic St. Denis sent the puck to Boyd, who skated down the right side of the Wolves' zone before cutting across to the centre of the ice. Boyd snapped a shot that sailed over the right shoulder of Chicago starting goaltender Peter Mannino.
Wyman gave the âDogs a 2-0 lead 41 seconds into the second stanza. Wyman received the puck from Andrew Conboy before firing a shot on net. The puck slid along the ice before beating Mannino and travelling across the goal line. Wyman added his second goal of the game at 9:25. Brendon Nash received the puck from Alex Henry before blasting a shot on net that was stopped by Mannino. The rebound bounced onto the stick of Wyman, who released a shot that beat Mannino.
The âDogs took a 4-0 lead at 5:59 of the final frame with a power-play goal. Ben Maxwell sent the puck to Kyle Klubertanz, who rifled a shot past the glove of Mannino and into the top of the net.
The Wolves got on the scoreboard at 8:47 of the third period. Nigel Dawes collected the puck while positioned in the low slot before snapping a shot that beat Hamilton starting goaltender Curtis Sanford between the legs.
The Bulldogs will travel to Milwaukee to battle the Admirals on Sunday, January 9th for a 2:00 p.m. EST game. All regular season Hamilton Bulldogs broadcasts on AM 820 CHAM will begin with a pre-game show 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
