
Minnesota Wild Recalls Goalie Anton Khudobin

HOUSTON --- Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled goaltender Anton Khudobin from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Khudobin, 24 (5/7/86), went 2-0-0 with a 0.86 GAA and a .979 save percentage in two games with the Wild in the 2009-10 season. He won his NHL debut in relief, Feb. 4 against Edmonton, playing 9:33 without allowing a goal. Khudobin also made 38 saves in a 2-1 win over Philadelphia on Feb. 6 in his first NHL start. Khudobin is 12-9-1 with a 2.58 GAA, a .911 save percentage and one shutout in 24 games for Houston this season. He participated in the AHL All-Star Game in 2010.
Season highlights with the Aeros include a six-game home win streak (Oct. 31-Dec. 10) during which he posted a 2.08 GAA and .933 save percentage. Khudobin also made 28 saves for his first shutout win of the season at Grand Rapids on Nov 19.
