D Keaton Ellerby Recalled from Rochester

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers General Manager *Dale Tallon* announced today that the club has recalled *D Keaton Ellerby* from the Rochester Americans (AHL).

Ellerby, 22, has played in 17 games with the Panthers this season registering four assists with a +5 rating. For his career in the National Hockey League, he has appeared in 39 games, all with Florida, recording four points (0-4-4) and eight PIM.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound defenseman has played in 12 games with Rochester this year recording two points (0-2-2) and four PIM. Ellerby was drafted by Florida with their first choice (10th overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.

The Amerks remain on the road tonight as they head to the southern tier to meet the Binghamton Senators in a non-divisional matchup at Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena. The 7:00 p.m. contest will be the fifth of eight meetings this season between the intrastate rivals and will be carried live on SportsRadio 1280 WHTK and FM 107.3, Rochester's Sports Talk.
