Pulock Named to 2015 AHL All-Star Team

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. - The American Hockey League announced today that rookie defenseman Ryan Pulock has been selected to represent the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the 2015 AHL All-Star Classic at the Utica Memorial Auditorium in Utica, N.Y. on Jan. 25-26.

Pulock, 20, earns a trip to the 2015 AHL All-Star Classic in his first professional season. The New York Islanders selected Pulock in the first round, 15th overall, of the 2013 National Hockey League Draft.

The Grandview, Man., native has appeared in 29 games for Bridgeport this year, recording 12 goals and five assists. Pulock currently leads the league in power play goals with 10. He is also tied for the league lead for goals by a defenseman and is tied for the team lead as well.

Pulock is the third-youngest player named to this year's All-Star Classic at just 20 years, 92 days.

Fans will have the opportunity to vote for the starting lineups for the 2015 AHL All-Star Game via official CCM AHL All-Star Fan Balloting. Details will be announced soon.
