January 6, 2015 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Chicago Wolves News Release

Right wing TY RATTIE has been selected to represent the Chicago Wolves at the 2015 American Hockey League All-Star Classic presented by Turning Stone Resort Casino. The forward is one of 46 players chosen and will suit up for the Western Conference at the event on Jan. 25-26 in Utica, N.Y.

The 21-year-old is in his second season as a pro and with the Wolves. He is tied for third in the league with 15 goals and ranks third with 113 shots. The forward leads the Wolves in goals and points (23) and is tied for second on the team in power-play goals (3) and game-winning goals (2).

This will be the first AHL All-Star Game appearance for RATTIE, who will be guided by a familiar face in Wolves bench boss JOHN ANDERSON. He was tabbed Monday as one of two Western Conference coaches at the event.

The Airdrie, Alberta, native has amassed 71 points (46G, 25A) in 107 career AHL games since breaking into the league as one of the top rookies last season. He became the only first-year player in franchise history to lead the team in regular-season points (48) and registered the most goals (31) of any Wolves player since 2009-10. RATTIE was also held scoreless in two games for St. Louis last season, making his NHL debut on April 11, 2013, in Dallas.

The Wolves hit the road for matchups in Grand Rapids on Saturday and in Iowa on Jan. 13. Chicago returns to Allstate Arena at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, against Lake Erie as the squad debuts its Fight Against Cancer specialty jerseys. For tickets, call 1-800-THE-WOLVES or visit ChicagoWolves.com.
