Admirals Welcome Mickey Abbott for Salute to Seinfeld

Milwaukee, WI--The Admirals announced today that actor Danny Woodburn, known for his role as Mickey Abbott on Seinfeld will appear during the Admirals annual Salute to Seinfeld on Wednesday January 21st as the Admirals take on the Utica Comets. Woodburn will be available for autographs and pictures with fans.

Steve Hynter, who played Kenny Bania and Larry Thomas, who played the Soup Nazi have also appeared on previous Admirals' Salutes to Seinfeld.

Woodburn has been acting since 1991, but did not gain popularity until his appearance as Kramer's friend Mickey Abbott in the Seinfeld episode "The Stand-In" and went on to appear in six more episodes. Since his last appearance on Seinfeld in 1998, Woodburn has had roles on shows such as Charmed, CSI, Monk and most recently played the role of Splinter in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. He is also a very active spokesperson against the derogatory treatment of little people and others with disabilities. He serves on the Performers with Disabilities Committee of the Screen Actors Guild and has spoken at fundraisers such as the Little People's Research Fund among others.
