TULSA, OK - The Tulsa Oilers scratched and clawed back from a 4-1 deficit Saturday, but came up short in a 4-3 loss to the Idaho Steelheads at the BOK Center.

The Oilers struck first on an early power play, when Garrett Ladd fired a wrist shot past Philippe Desrosiers from the top of the right circle 2:38 into the first period. But Idaho's captain, Jefferson Dahl tallied two consecutive goals to put the Steelheads ahead 2-1 through 20 minutes, including a goal late in a 5-on-3 man-advantage.

After a long scoreless stretch in the second period, Justin Parizek put the Steelheads ahead 3-1 when he found the net on a 2-on-1 rush, before Charlie Dodero snuck a shot through a screen past Tulsa goaltender Jake Hildebrand to make it 4-1.

Hildebrand stopped all 16 shots in the third period, while Adam Pleskach contributed a power play goal and Justin Selman followed suit to make things interested late. Conner Bleackley assisted on all three Oilers goals. Tulsa's comeback came up short at the end, as the Steelheads hung on for the weekend sweep.
