
Mavericks Announce Hanson Brothers VIP Happy Hour

Independence, MO (January 5, 2015)- The Missouri Mavericks are excited to announced that the legendary Hanson Brothers from the 1977 movie "Slap Shot" will be coming to Kansas City for a night of festivities on Saturday, January 17th, and you're invited!
Hang out with the real-life hockey players whose performance as the "Hanson Brothers" helped make "Slap Shot" one of the top sports films of all time! Join the brothers for pizza and an exclusive meet-and-greet before the Mavericks game at Strikerz Entertainment Center, where you'll be able to learn tips for "puttin' on the foil" and discuss the greatest hockey movie ever!
Tickets for this event are limited and are expected to sell-out well in advance-make your reservations as soon as possible to secure your spot!

$30 for Season Ticket holders
$50 for non-Season Ticket holders (includes rink-side ticket to the game - a $28 value!)

The Missouri Mavericks will be wearing specialty "Slap Shot" jerseys during their home game on January 17th at Independence Events Center against the Rapid City Rush. All of the game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off in a live auction directly following the game in sections 101 & 102. A portion of the proceeds from the jersey auction will be donated to the Rainbow Center.
