
Binghamton Senators Send Scott Greenham to Evansville

EVANSVILLE, Ind.- The Binghamton Senators of the AHL have assigned goaltender, Scott Greenham, to the Evansville IceMen, presented by Coors Light. In a corresponding move the IceMen have released goaltender, Branden Komm.
Greenham owns a 7-4-1 record in 13 appearances with the B-Sens this year. Greenham posted a 2.38 goals against average and a .926 save percentage in his 13 games this season. The Addison, ON native earned his first career AHL shutout against the Wilkes Barre/ Scranton Penguins on Dec. 26, 2014.
In his fourth professional season, Greenham leaves Binghamton after winning his last three starts for the Senators. Greenham has allowed just 1.64 goals per game and turned away 94.5 percent of the shots he saw during this win streak.
Greenham played his collegiate hockey at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. In 115 career games with the Nanooks, Greenham's goals against average never finished above 2.47.
During his time in Alaska, Greenham posted 50 wins. He led the Nanooks to NCAA Regional Semifinals in 2009-10, the highest finish, in school history with a 2.20 goals against average and a .919 save percentage. Both of which were collegiate bests.
Greenham also earned a spot on the NCAA (CCHA) Second All-Star Team in 2010-11. Lowe's honored Greenham as part of the Senior Class All-Americans Second team in 2011-12.
The 27-year-old netminder last played in the ECHL during the 2013-14 season with the Elmira Jackals. He stopped the puck alongside current IceMen Jakub Culek, Randy Cure, Danny Hobbs, Troy Rutkowski, and Chris Driedger.
Komm made five appearances for Evansville and leaves with a 2.85 goals against average and a .912 save percentage. The rookie out of Williamsville, N.Y. allowed just 1.33 goals per game and stopped 94.4 percent of the shots he faced in limited action during the month of December.
Evansville will make a trip through the Central Division when they visit Missouri on Friday night and Wichita on Saturday and Sunday. Fans can watch all three games at Bar Louie, the Official Watch Party Destination of the Evansville IceMen. Friday and Saturday's games will begin at 7:05 with Sunday's game starting at 5:05 p.m.
The IceMen will return to home ice when they host the Cincinnati Cyclones on Saturday Jan. 17. Evansville will try to use the force to defeat the dark side (Cincinnati) at the IceMen's annual Star Wars night.
Single game tickets are on sale now for all games including Star Wars Night at the Ford Center Box Office Monday through Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m and after noon on game days.
